Domestic and international shipping is calculated at the time of checkout and is often free within the U.S.  

Orders are typically shipped within 1 - 2 business days.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 10 days of delivery, provided the piece is safely returned.  This applies if the work does not meet your expectations or is not the right fit in your space.  Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the buyer.  To be eligible for a refund, the piece must be returned in the same condition in which it arrived, using the original box and protective packaging.  If the work is damaged as a result of insufficient packaging, mishandeling, or improper care during return shipping, the refund cannot be issued.

Everything is made by hand, either on a potter’s wheel or using hand building techniques such as pinching and coiling.  We build with stoneware clay and fire to cone 5/6 in an electric kiln.  Unless otherwise noted, food safe, non-toxic glazes decorate the work.  In many cases, the glazes are one-of-a-kind in-house developed recipes.

Many of our works are exclusive one time creations meaning that only a single piece is made.  In this case the pictures on our website feature the exact piece being purchased.  In other cases, especially for our functional housewares, small batches are made.  Since each piece is individually crafted, yours will have its own character—slight variations in glaze, subtle differences in form, and the unmistakable marks of the maker's hand. These aren't imperfections; they're the signature of authentic handmade pottery.

Handmade ceramics always benefit from gentle handling and hand washing.  We do not recommend microwaving any of our wares.    Unless otherwise specified, our functional wares are dishwasher safe.  

In most cases exact color samples can be provided for a small fee.  Please contact us to request your samples. 

Works under our Vermont Fine Art collection are hand made and never replicated.  Each piece is marked with a unique number to document it's authenticity.  

Our functional wares (mugs, bowls, tumblers, etc) are hand made in small batch editions and may become available after being sold out.  Although multiple works of each piece are made, each one is unique due to its hand made nature.   Each piece features our makers mark to document it's authenticity .

We would love to work with you to create custom pieces for your home or restaurant.  Most of our work is actually commissioned, and we really enjoy the collaborative process.  Requests for commissioned work is open from October - March.  We don't put names on pots or take specific color requests.  If you have questions please contact us  to begin a conversation.
